It is strongly recommended that scouts coming on the Cumberland Island Trip attend the February 8 'Shakedown' trip. It will be a bit of an experiment in cooking together as a patrol, as well as fulfilling several requirements. 

It is also an important opportunity to demonstrate that everyone's backpacks fit properly, aren't too heavy, and test out our backpacking knowledge.
